Moreton-in-Marsh is easily accesible by road and rail.
The North Cotswolds town is located just over 20 miles from Cirencester, 40 miles from Oxford, less than 45 miles from Birmingham and approximately 80 miles from central London. It stands at the crossroads of the Fosse Way, an old Roman road now known as the A429, and the A44, which winds its way from Oxford in the east to Evesham in the west. The best place for visitors to leave their car is at Old Market Way car park, which is accessible from Station Road, just off Oxford Street (follow the signs).
Moreton is the only town in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that is on a mainline train station, with regular trains stopping on the Cotswold Line that runs between London, Oxford and Worcester. A direct train from London Paddington takes approximately 90 minutes to reach Moreton (for more details, visit First Great Western). From Moreton train station, it's a 2-minute walk to the High Street.
